I love my friends, they are the ones who will keep me up till 5 in the morning working some old pile of shovelhead and laughing my ass off all night. That's what last night was all about, harlan rolled in on old man tan about 6 or so with a small fuel leak, which turned into a swingarm tightening, pushrod adjustment, plug change, cleaning the carb about 20 times, and a battery that just wouldn't play nice with us. We took off  on the first test ride and made it all the way to the gas station a quarter mile away before coming back and fucking with the carb and everything else for the rest of the night and took a nice high speed backroad run home at about 5:30.

Birthday Well spent

So today is my 5th annual 21st birthday and as a gift to myself i spent the day lazily working on my bike. Tailsection, frame bits, and most of the battery box done up. I even found the taillight i had been looking for and have a plan for finishing off the swingarm/oilbag setup.

Procharger 131 Twin Cam

She is getting closer to taking names and kicking ass. We spent today modifying the oil bud oil cooler to work with the baker +1.5 pan and the ghost pipe for the... i guess not true duals.... false duals? Anyways, a little bit of bracket realignment and a big notch in the pipe and its ready to rock. The rest of the day was pent making making a whole shitload of custom 12 point arp bolts to fit the primary, Each one had to have the flange lathed off and we needed an ultra thin wall socket to put them all in. A pain in the ass? Yes. Worth it? Yes. Looking forward to hopefully hearing it run by the afternoon.
